We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and commercial people leader to work with this fast-growing company in the healthcare sector.
 
We are looking for a high calibre, ambitious, commercially focused Head of People and Capability that has the ability to lead and operationalise an effective people strategy in this business and drive a high performing culture.
 
We are looking for a strong leader who is a good influencer and able to drive change in a fluid and dynamic environment. This is a business that employs around 1000 people and leads a small but talented HR team. It is essential, that you are strong operationally and are able to be hands on and be in the detail to achieve outcomes. Crucially, you will be a strong relationship builder with excellent stakeholder management skills and be able to adapt to the ever-changing healthcare landscape.
 
We are looking for someone to continue to build and drive a high performing and engaging culture to the business and foster an environment of open communication and success. You will have a continuous improvement mentality and be able to work effectively with the senior leadership team and deliver on a number of interesting projects in the HR and broader business teams.
 
This is a unionised environment, so it is essential that you have experience of leading collective bargaining as two collectives come up for renegotiation next year.
 
This role would suit an highly organised and experienced HR leader at the top of their game and wanting to do good work. 
 
The role reports into the CEO for the organisation who is supportive but looking for this role to be autonomous.  
 
The company is a great place to work and is in transformation through a positive change project that allows for significant improvements to be made across the business, and this role is seen as critical to the continued success of the organisation.
 
This role is initially a one-year fixed term contract and ideally we are looking for candidates to start work in December.
