We have a fantastic, newly created opportunity for an experienced and dynamic Head of Participant Recruitment to take charge of a Momentum Clinical Research who are fast-growing in the clinical research sector.

This role will see you lead a high-performing outbound recruitment team, ensuring strong patient engagement and overseeing the recruitment of clinical trial participants across New Zealand and Australia. You’ll play an important role in the organisation by mentoring a team, driving excellence, improving processes, and helping establish and build the function.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Develop and implement data-driven recruitment strategies in collaboration with clinical, marketing, and management teams.
  • Foster genuine relationships with participants, ensuring a seamless and positive experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Identify and capitalise on new opportunities to improve patient recruitment efficiency and engagement.
  • Achieve recruitment targets by coaching, mentoring, and leading a high-performing team.
  • Utilise data insights and reporting to make informed decisions and drive continuous process improvements.
  • Implement new recruitment systems and tools to enhance efficiency and tracking.
  • Partner with internal teams to develop targeted recruitment and advertising strategies based on patient demographics and clinical trial needs.
  • Oversee the full patient journey, from initial outreach to enrolment, ensuring compliance with regulatory and ethical guidelines.

We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven leader with a strong track record in data-driven patient recruitment, customer engagement, or sales leadership. However, we are also open to professionals from healthcare, sales, or operations backgrounds who can demonstrate success in streamlining processes and leading high-performing teams.

Your communication and leadership skills will enable you to build lasting relationships with patients, team members, and key stakeholders. You’ll be a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of data and performance metrics to drive recruitment success.

This role will oversee both onsite and remote team members across New Zealand and Australia, working closely with clinical, senior leadership, and marketing teams to ensure seamless collaboration.

As the Head of Participant Recruitment, you’ll be part of a collaborative leadership team with the autonomy to shape the future success of patient recruitment, a function seen as key to the organisation’s future growth.
