We are searching for an experienced and enthusiastic Sales Manager to join this amazing business in the fruit growing sector. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow the business by selling products into grocery and other industrial channels.
This is a newly created role where we are looking for an experienced and driven salesperson to drive the growth of this business. You will be tasked with establishing new channels to market for this proudly kiwi owned and produced product. The main competitors to this business are all internationally imported products so there is a real opportunity to drive the growth of a New Zealand owned and produced product.
The role will see you lead the growth of their frozen products and bring new SKU’s to the market. There are some warm leads into the grocery market but it is the more industrial clients like bakeries, restaurants, cafes and commercial kitchens where additional opportunities could be developed.
This business is the largest producer of its kind in New Zealand and is led by a fantastic General Manager who will be supportive but also give you the autonomy to drive growth.
This role is based in Auckland and is a work from home opportunity. The head office and production facility for the company is based in Hamilton, and thus there is an expectation of travel to Hamilton about once a week.
We do need someone who has previous experience of selling into similar grocery channels with a FMCG or food product background.
