The Month

Spark names Tommy Bjorkberg Chief Operating Officer. One New Zealand promotes Nick Judd to succeed Jason Paris. Alison Barrass takes two NZX board seats in eight days.

Thirty-three verified board and leadership changes across NZX-listed companies in July. Freightways, Winton Land and Enprise Group each changed the person at the top. Spark, Tower and One New Zealand reset their executive benches. Five of the departures were term-end rather than exits, and six moves were straight successions.
